Welcome to the Union County Human Resources Association
|
The UCHRA is an affiliated chapter (#0719) of The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world's largest association devoted to human resource management.
Our association has a catered working luncheon typically held the first Wednesday of every month from 11:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Our meetings are held at the Union County Chamber of Commerce, which is located at 903 Skyway Drive in Monroe, NC.
We are dedicated to serving the needs of HR professionals and senior business executives and managers by enhancing our members' professional growth. Our goal is to assist our members in the best practices for performing their HR related duties in a legally compliant manner.
We obtain guest speakers on a multitude of practical and legal HR related topics. Our speakers typically consist of employment attorneys, employee benefits experts, HR professionals, and representatives from agencies such as the U.S. Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Employment Security Commission. Some of our meetings qualify for HRCI credit, including our semi-annual legal updates. Our luncheons also provide HR professionals with an opportunity to network and share information.
Please contact any of the board members if you have any questions about the UCHRA.
